As a practicing Catholic, I often worry that the church is perpetually behind the times expecting people to come to it – instead of going to them. Well last week on World Communications Day, the Pope posted a message to Priests on the Vatican web site that invited and entreated them to get on line!

In spite of being an easy target for ridicule (mostly by those who don’t know what it is for, hence this post), Twitter can be a very useful little tool. Twitter lets you tell a lot of people a little something with one, succint post. If you can get the right people to follow you, you’re sending a highly targeted message.
