Thursday, February 25th, 2010

Book Review: Super Freakonomics

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

In spite of the overly witty full title – Super Freakonomics Global Cooling, Patriotic Prostitutes and Why Suicide Bombers Should Buy Life Insurance – the book is actually a fascinating tale of how economics plays into even the most bizarre areas of modern life.

Whew! Just Found Out That It’s OK Get One Thing Done At A Time

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Just read this on the Copywriter Underground – Tom Chandler (who got it from someone else, but I think its OK to share a share…) and had to share with my fellow multi-taskers. “Multi” sometimes doesn’t even cover it. What’s a good word for doing a million things at once? Anyway, here’s the scoop:

Book Review: The Element – How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything by Ken Robinson

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

The first time I heard the phrase “in your element”, I was about 20 years old and visiting a history museum with my mom. At one point during our visit she turned to me and said, “You’re really in your element here.” At the time I just smiled and thought, “I wonder what she means by that?” Years later I am reading The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything by Ken Robinson and remembering that day – finally getting what my mom was trying to say to me.
