I have deleted posts, only a few, and the reason being was that I felt they contained language that not only was offensive to me, but to others who would visit my profile. I have several younger family members as friends and would not want to be put in a compromising situation by what they could possibly view when visiting my wall. And I would do it again without hesitation if I deemed something inappropriate. I completely agree that in this instance, deleting that post was justified.
